Genetic variability parameters in genotypes of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.)
Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry · 2024 · Vol. 13(6) · pp. 93–95
Abstract
Twenty six linseed genotypes taken from AICRP in linseed, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G) which include four checks (RLC-92, RLC-143, RLC-148, RLC-151) were evaluated for genetic variability. High PCV as well as GCV was shown by number of capsule per plant. The highest heritability was observed for the trait number of capsules per plant 96.71% followed by stem thickness 92.53%. The genetic advance as percent of mean was found to be highest in number of capsules per plant.
