Abstract
This paper provides an overview of the nature and evolution of organizational development (OD) as a field of study and practice. Organizational development is a multidisciplinary approach aimed at improving organizational effectiveness and employee well-being. It has evolved over several decades, adapting to changes in the business environment and advances in management theory and practice.
