Effect of different time of pruning on physicochemical quality parameters of guava

International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research · 2025 · Vol. 9(8S) · pp. 25–28

Abstract

An investigation on improvement of quality of guava cv. L-49 was carried out at Western Block, Central Research Station, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidhyapeeth, Akola during the year 2024-25 with the objective of to find out optimum time of pruning for better quality of guava. The study investigatws the impact of different time of pruning on physico chemical quality parameters of guava. The result revealed that pruning have significant effect on physicochemical parameters such as fruit polar length, fruit equatorial length, fruit volume, fruit weight, TSS, titratable acidity, ascorbic acid, total sugars, reducing sugars, and non-reducing sugars.
