Effect of neuromuscular training on ACL injury risk reduction in female athletes: A study in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India

Abstract

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries are increasingly reported among female athletes, posing a threat to long-term musculoskeletal health and athletic participation. This study investigates the impact of a structured neuromuscular training (NMT) program on ACL injury risk reduction in female athletes in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. A sample of 30 female athletes aged 16-22 years was selected through purposive sampling.
