Formulation and evaluation of multi herbal soap

Abstract

Multi-herbal soaps, which combine the advantages of different herbs and plants, have been developed in response to the increased demand for natural skincare products. The creation and assessment of a multi-herbal soap using pomegranate, chia seeds, butterfly pea flowers, and neem is the main goal of this project. Every component is recognized for its unique medicinal qualities: Butterfly pea flowers are valued for their anti-inflammatory and skin-brightening qualities, pomegranates offer anti-aging and antioxidant benefits, neem has antibacterial and antifungal qualities, and chia seeds are high in omega-3 fatty acids and promote skin hydration. These herbal components were combined with appropriate excipients and surfactants to create the soap composition. A number of criteria, such as skin compatibility, moisturizing impact, foaming ability, and antibacterial properties, were used to evaluate the soap. Based on the study's findings, the multi-herbal soap formulation shows promise for improving skin hydration, texture, and possibly even antibacterial properties. By providing a comprehensive skincare solution that incorporates the therapeutic qualities of these natural components, our project seeks to support the expanding market for natural cosmetics.
