Evaluation of anti-fertility activity of Curcuma longa leaves extracts in albino Rats

Abstract
The present study was to evaluate the antifertility (oestrous cycle study) potential of Curcuma longa leaves extract (ethanol) on female Wistar rats. The antifertility activity of the ethanol extract of leaf (Curcuma longa) was evaluated by one method namely oestrous cycle study in female rats. In estrous cycle study, the extract (50mg and 100mg/kg b.w) was administered for 15 days to cover three regular estrous cycles.
