Abstract
The phytochemical analysis of the fruit of Averrhoa bilimbi Linn is reported in this paper. 1-Phenyl-1-Propanol, a phyto constituent that was isolated from the fruit of A. bilimbi Linn, which has never before been reported. The 1D NMR (1H, 13C-NMR) spectroscopic data and, when necessary, a comparison between the 1H- and 13C-NMR data and published data from the literature were used to determine the structure of this chemical.
