Abstract

Background: A chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a kind of renal disease in which there is a gradual loss of renal function. Initially, CKD is described as renal insufficiency or reduced renal reserve, which may progress to renal failure. Objectives: The present study aimed to assess the lipid profile among CKD patients attending a rural teaching hospital. Materials and Methods: This prospective observational study was conducted at Tertiary care Hospital Sangareddy. A total of 100 study subjects were selected from MNR hospital during the period from June 2021 to December 2021. The sample size was calculated by open Epi software.
