Factors influencing language teaching and language learning

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to find the factors influencing language teaching and language learning. Therefore, this paper attempts to explain the factors which are important and effective in teaching and learning a new language. In addition, it focuses on some factors which are affect the acquisition of English as a foreign language unsuccessful. The work is identify in the following variables like: Motivation, attitude, personality factors, socio-cultural factors, and instructional factors. Furthermore, the intention also to identify the different factors that negatively affect the teaching and learning environment, and find possible solutions to promote the teaching and learning. The points which make the learning unsuccessful are: Limited use of modern instructional methods, absence of training workshops, and insufficient amount of exposure to the target language. These points are additional factors of poor performance.
