Response of nutrient combinations on fruit cracking and its attributes in different cultivars of bael [Aegle marmelos (L.) Correa]

Abstract

The present investigation aimed to find out the “The present investigation “Response of nutrients on fruit cracking in different cultivars of bael (Aegle marmelos L.)” was conducted at Main Experiment Station, Department of Horticulture, Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya (U.P.) during the year 2017-18 and 2018-19. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with factorial concept, replicated thrice with 12 treatment combinations, comprising with 4 varieties V1 (NB-4), V2(NB-5), V3 (NB-7) and V4 (NB-9) and N1 Borax 200g + Zinc Sulphate200g + Calcium Nitrate 200g, N2 Borax 400g + Zinc Sulphate 400g + Calcium Nitrate 400g are applied in the soil. In the point of view of nutrients, the minimum fruit cracking of bael was found with N2 (Borax 400g + Zinc Sulphate 400g +Calcium Nitrate400g) and in the point of view varieties, the minimum fruit cracking of bael was found with V2 (NB-5) is founded superior over all treatments for eastern Uttar Pradesh area.
