Abstract
This article delivers several solutions to protect tradition of river culture in Vietnam, especialy in the two delta regions in the North (Red river delta) and in the South (Mekong delta). River culture is fading away due to process of urbanization and climate change that are taking place around the globe. In this paper we are examining this process, especially in the context of progressing urbanization process that poses many threats to national costal economies.
