International Journal of Chemical Studies · 2019 · Vol. 7(4) · pp. 2765–2768

Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of application of PGR and chemicals on physical and physiological parameters of custard apple cv. Sindhan was carried out at Department of Horticulture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh during 2018. The treatments comprising of spray of GA3, CaCl2 and borax were applied to the tree at the time of flowering, 30 days after flowering and 60 days after flowering. Among the treatments spray of GA3 @ 50 ppm + CaCl2 @ 2% + borax @ 0.2% were found to be maximum fruit length, diameter, volume, weight, marketable fruit, shelf life and minimum physiological loss in weight and spoilage as compare to the other treatments.
