Abstract
The present study was undertaken to study the effect of floor type and ventilation on the microbial quality and composition of buffalo milk in rural villages of district Jammu. The buffalo management practices were studied by means of designed questionnaires. Milk samples were collected and analyzed for milk physico-chemical composition, somatic cell count and microbiological quality.
