The effect of water treated with potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and chlorine on some hygienic and physiological parameters in the local rabbits

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the disinfection potency of KMnO4 or chlorine in treated water on some hygienic and physiological parameters of local male rabbits, thirty – two males randomly divided into four groups: first group (free chlorine water) negative control, second(tap water) positive control, third(KMnO4 1ppm), and fourth ((KMnO4 2ppm). Blood samples were taken and serums were obtained.
