Woodfordia fruticosa Kurz is a widely used medicinal herb in different South East Asian countries since long back and plays a potential role in curing/treating various ailments/disorders like leprosy, toothache, leucorrhea, fever, dysentery, bowel disease. This review is intended to provide the currently available information on traditional usage, chemical constituents, various biological activities and its marketed preparations.
