Abstract

80 days experiment was conducted to determine the growth, biochemical, haematological and digestive enzyme performance of Labeo rohita (1.25± 0.12 g), fingerlings fed with Water Lettuce, Pistia stratiotes young leaf meal. The fingerlings were fed with a control (0% P. stratiotes) and five different experimental diets, containing 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% of P. stratiotes meal in place of fish meal as protein source and named as P0, P10, P20, P30, P40 and P50 respectively.
