Abstract

Pudina, or mint, is an adaptable herb well-known for its fragrant leaves and a variety of healthful, culinary, healing attributes. Its high menthol content gives it a cool flavor, making it a popular ingredient in drinks, sauces, and sweets. In addition to its use in cooking, mint is acclaimed for its ability to aid digestion by calming stomach issues, relieving indigestion, and lessening nausea. Furthermore, its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant characteristics render it beneficial for holistic health practices. The essential oils of pudina also possess antimicrobial properties, serving as a natural solution for respiratory challenges and skin complaints. This herb has a rich history in traditional medicine and remains a favored option for enhancing flavor and well-being.In the culinary world, pudina adds zest to dishes, drinks, sauces, and salads, complementing both sweet and avory preparations. It’s frequently included in chutneys, teas, and mixology, including the famous mojito. Outside of culinary uses, pudina has a deep-rooted history in folk medicine due to its healing properties. The herb aids digestion by easing discomfort, bloating, and nausea. Menthol, its active compound, is popularly noted for its cooling effect and its ability to soothe both the stomach and respiratory tract. Material and Method: Here the mother tincture of Pudina solution is taken for u v analysis. Result: Wave length is from 400-600nm.At 411.5 wavelength the absorbance value is 0.9510. Phenolic Compound and chlorophyll is observed at 611, 665 nm & 537.5 nm.
