Effect of nutrient management on growth and yield of cucumber under polyhouse

International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research · 2026 · Vol. 10(3S) · pp. 583–585

Abstract

An experiment was carried out in the High Tech Green House, College of Horticulture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat) to examine the impact of nutrient management on cucumbers grown in polyhouse during 2021-22. There were eight treatments in the experiment. Three replications and a completely randomized design (CRD) were used in the experiment. In T3 (100% RDF + Panchgavaya 3%), the effects of nutrients on vine length, days to first female flower initiation, number of female flowers per plant, days to first picking, average fruit weight, number of fruit per plant, average yield per plant, yield per hectare, and T.S.S. were found significant.
