A case report on individualized homoeopathic management of acne with kalium bromatum

Abstract

Acne is a common dermatological condition that can affect both physical appearance and psychological well-being. This case report presents the homoeopathic management of papulo-pustular acne in a 27-year-old female with facial eruptions that worsened during menses and left unsightly scars. After detailed case taking and repertorization using the Synthesis Repertory, Kalium bromatum was selected based on the totality of symptoms. The patient showed marked improvement in eruptions, menstrual complaints, and general health following the administration of Kali bromatum along with placebo and lifestyle advice. This case highlights the usefulness of individualized homoeopathic treatment in acne management.
