Feeding and management constraints faced by crossbred cattle owners in Hingna tahsil of Nagpur district

Abstract

The present investigation entitled “Feeding and management constraints faced by crossbred cattle owners in Hingna tahsil of Nagpur district” was carried out by randomly selecting 200 crossbred cattle owners from 4 villages of Hingna tahsil. The data in respect of existing feeding and management constraints were collected through well-designed and pretested structured interview schedule. The study findings reveled that majority of the crossbred cattle owners in the study area perceived technical constraint (89.25%), financial (85.25%), personal (65.00%), infrastructural (62.75%) and situational (61.90%). Further among situational constraints cent per cent of crossbred cattle owners reported non availability of veterinary hospitals.
