When a wart takes a stem: Homoeopathic management of a pedunculated scalp verruca in a child - A case report

Abstract

Warts are common viral skin infections in children that often resist conventional therapy and negatively affect quality of life. This case report presents a 12-year-old boy with multiple scalp warts and significant psychological stress following maternal bereavement. An individualised homoeopathic approach with Thuja occidentalis 1M resulted in the complete removal of the warts and a notable improvement in his emotional well-being. The case highlights the importance of holistic assessment and constitutional prescription in homoeopathic practice.
