Abstract

Phytogenic feed additives are increasingly explored as sustainable alternatives to synthetic growth promoters in livestock production. The present study evaluated the biochemical and hematological effects of dietary supplementation of Tinospora cordifolia in indigenous cattle. Thirty-two apparently healthy non-descript cattle were divided into control and treatment groups. The treatment group received T. cordifolia stem powder at 100 mg kg⁻¹ body weight for five consecutive days.
