A Case Report on the Homoeopathic Management of Typhoid Fever with Eucalyptus Globulus 6CH

Abstract

Typhoid fever is a systemic infectious disease caused by Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi and remains a major public health concern in developing countries. This case report describes the homoeopathic management of a clinically diagnosed case of typhoid fever in a 32-year-old female managed with the homeopathic medicine based on symptomatology and after consulting Boericke’s Materia Medica using Eucalyptus globulus 6CH along with supportive care. Diagnosis was established based on characteristic clinical features, laboratory investigations (Typhi Dot test), and the Nelwan scoring system. The patient showed gradual clinical improvement with complete resolution of fever and associated symptoms without complications.
