Analysis of marketing behaviour of tomato growers in Chickkamagaluru District, Karnataka

Abstract
The present study was undertaken with the objective of analysis of marketing behaviour in among the tomato growers in Chikmagaluru district of Karnataka during 2024-25, with the sample size of 120 respondents. The findings of the revealed that, 81.66 per cent of respondents sell their produce to APMC. Majority (89.17%) of the respondents sell their produce through indirect market. Immediate cash payment (80.33%) agency is very near to one (78.33%) were the major reasons expressed majority of respondents for sale of tomato at particular agency.
