Dysfunctional uterine bleeding treated with individualized homoeopathic medicine: A case study

Abstract

Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB) is a common gynecological disorder of reproductive age characterized by abnormal uterine bleeding without identifiable organic pathology, often resulting from hormonal imbalance. This case report presents the homoeopathic management of a 26-year-old female suffering from chronic DUB for one year. The case was evaluated through detailed case-taking, miasmatic consideration, and repertorial analysis. Based on the totality of symptoms, Sepia officinalis 200c was prescribed. Progressive improvement was observed in menstrual regularity, reduction in bleeding duration and volume, and overall improvement in physical strength and mental well-being. This case highlights the role of individualized homoeopathic treatment in managing dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
