Abstract

Colonialism has significantly shaped the political, economic and social structures of contemporary states. Its legacy continues to influence governance patterns, identity politics, development trajectories, and international relations. This research paper examines how colonial interventions have produced long-term political outcomes. By analyzing examples from Asia, Africa and Latin America, it highlights how post-colonial nations continue to navigate challenges rooted in their colonial past.
