International Journal of Research in Agronomy · 2026 · Vol. 9(1S) · pp. 163–166

Abstract

Garlic is the most significant commercial crop grown in Rajasthan. Integrated nutrient management in garlic crop to influence growth, yield and quality at various levels of RDF + Vermicompost + PSB. A field experiment was conducted during rabi, 2024-25at Agricultural Research Farm, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Mahal Road, Jagatpura, Jaipur (Rajasthan). The experiment comprised of ten treatments viz., T1(Control), T2(100% RDF), T3(100% Vermicompost), T4(100% FYM),T5(75% RDF + 25% N through FYM), T6(75% RDF + 25% N through Vermicompost), T7(50% RDF + 50% N through FYM), T8[50% RDF + 50% N through Vermicompost), T9 (75% RDF + 25% N through FYM + PSB @3 kg/ha) and T10 (75% RDF + 25% N through Vermicompost + PSB @3 kg/ha) with replicated three in Randomized Block Design. Garlic variety G-282 was used as a test crop. The results found that during experiment use of different nutrient on growth, yield and quality its effect among all treatments T10 (75% RDF + 25% N through Vermicompost + PSB @3 kg/ha) was found that maximum value of growth parameters viz., The maximum plant height (29.45, 38.36 and 58.45 cm)at 30, 60 and 90 DAS, highest number of leaves per plant (5.24, 6.85 and 10.21) were at 30, 60 and 90 DAS, maximum length of leaf (26.21, 28.43 and 36.98 cm) were recorded at 30,60 and 90 DAS. Yield parameters viz., maximum length of bulb of garlic (5.36 cm) maximum (4.93 cm) diameter of bulb, Maximum number of cloves per bulb (15.35), weight of individual clove (1.15 g), maximum bulb weight (17.65g), maximum (3.53 kg plot-1) bulb yield maximum bulb yield of garlic (117.68 q ha-1) was obtained under T10 (75% RDF + 25% N through Vermicompost + PSB @3 kg/ha), Quality parameters viz., The maximum titratable acidity (0.95% maximum TSS content of bulb (37.35 0Brix) maximum dry matter content of bulb (39.71%) was recorded under the treatment T10 (75% RDF + 25% N through Vermicompost+ PSB @3 kg/ha).and The maximum net return of garlic (551599 Rs/ha) maximum B: C ratio (3.57) was recorded under the treatment T10 (75% RDF + 25% N through Vermicompost + PSB @3 kg/ha).
