Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is a major public health concern worldwide, affecting both humans and animals. In cattle, TB is caused by Mycobacterium bovis, which can be transmitted to humans through the consumption of contaminated milk or meat. The international cattle market is a hub for cattle trade, with animals coming from different regions, increasing the risk of disease transmission. The major objective of this article is to report the prevalence of gross lesions of Bovine tuberculosis in cattle at slaughter in Makurdi abattoir, Benue State, Nigeria.
