New record of some mud dauber wasps (Hymenoptera: Sphecidae) from Rajasthan

Abstract

Four species including two subspecies of mud dauber wasps of the family Sphecidae, Ammophila clavus (Fabricius, 1775) [3], Chalybion bengalense (Dahlbom, 1845) [2], Sceliphron madraspatanum madraspatanum (Fabricius, 1781) [4], Sceliphron madraspatanam pictum (Smith, 1856), and Sphex pruinosus Germar, 1817 are reported here for the first time from Rajasthan [6, 8].
