International Journal of Research in Agronomy · 2025 · Vol. 8(12) · pp. 233–235

Abstract

The experiment was conducted during rabi 2023-24 at the experimental farm, Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani (M.S). The experiment was laid out in Split plot design comprising 4 dates of sowing (D1 – 12th October, D2 – 26th October, D3 – 9th November and D4 – 23rd November) as main plot factor with 3 varieties (V1 – Varun, V2 – Phule Viraj and V3 – Phule Rajma) as sub plot in three replications. The size of the gross and net plots was 5.4 m × 4.8 m and 4.5 m × 4.1 m, respectively. Parameters recorded included number of pods per plant, number of seed pod, dry weight of pods plant, weight of seed pod, seed yield plant(g), straw yield plant (g), etc. Variety Phule Viraj had the highest number of pods followed by Phule Rajma and Varun in that order.
