Sources of non-deposit financing and its impact on the profitability of Jordanian commercial banks

Abstract

This study aimed to know the sources of non-deposit funds and their impact on the profitability of Jordanian commercial banks for the period (2009 - 2018) as they represent the backbone of life for these banks because they have a direct and actual impact on their performance, the study methodology was used to combine the analytical and descriptive methods in order to reach the most accurate results. The statistical program SPSS was used, and several results were reached, the most important of which is that there is a statistically significant relationship between the sources of finance. The study also recommended the need to diversify the sources of funding calculated for the deficit of one of its types and thus damage the financial position of the institution.
