Homeopathy: An integrated approach for bone-marrow disorders with blood & platelet transfusions

Abstract

Bone-marrow failure disorders—including Aplastic Anaemia (AA), Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), and Paroxysmal Nocturnal Haemoglobinuria (PNH)—are complex haematological conditions that often require intensive and long-term management. While conventional therapies such as ATG, Entomophagy, immunosuppressive agents, and stem-cell transplantation remain essential, treatment failure, adverse effects, relapse, and limited accessibility pose significant challenges. In this context, homeopathy has emerged as a promising integrative and adjunct therapeutic approach. Its individualized treatment philosophy, minimal side effects, and compatibility with transfusions and immunosuppressive therapy make it suitable for supportive care. This paper provides a critical review of integrative management strategies with a focus on how advanced homeopathy, particularly LM (50 millesimal) potencies, may enhance stability, quality of life, and overall outcomes in bone-marrow disorders.
