Productive performance of Sahiwal cattle on dietary supplementation of fenugreek seed (Trigonella foenum-graecum) powder

Abstract

A study was conducted on eighteen (18) Sahiwal cattle of almost similar lactation period (2nd to 4th lactation) group to observe the effect of fenugreek seed powder supplementation at two different levels of inclusion. The animals were divided into three experimental groups i.e. control group (T0) was fed with balance concentrate along with paddy straw and green roughage ad lib., T1 (25 g of fenugreek seeds along with control ration) and T2 (50 g of fenugreek seeds along with control ration).
