The effect of relaxation and imagery exercises on the self-confidence of table tennis athletes age 14 - 18 years DKI Jakarta

Abstract

Study This about influence relaxation and imagery to trust self-athlete tennis table totaling 12 people. Research This is study quantitative with use method pre-experiment “One Groups “Pre-Test and Post Test Design”. From the whole results test data return beginning show range score 62 to 99 with average value of 83.17. Obtained that score smallest mark middle as many as 3 samples or by 25% and score highest mark middle as many as 4 samples or amounting to 33.33%. Of the total results test data return end show range score 80 to 117 with average value of 147.8. Obtained that score smallest mark middle as many as 2 samples or by 16.67% and the score highest mark middle as many as 2 samples or by 16.67% and the score most mark middle as many as 4 samples or 33.33%. Research results This using hypothesis testing or t-test then can see that exercise relaxation and imagery own t - value of 3.02 with level significance of 5% and degree freedom N-1 = 11, obtained t table of 1.795 which means t count (3.02) > t table (1.795), then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is improvement trust self-athlete after given relaxation and imagery exercises. The results show that There is sufficient average difference significant from results test trust self-athlete tennis table aged 14 - 18 years DKI Jakarta.
