Abstract

Observation after remedy administration is the physician’s compass in homoeopathic practice. Hahnemann described a spectrum of patient responses in the Organon of Medicine and The Chronic Diseases. These responses, when rightly understood, guide the physician in prognosis, repetition, antidoting, or remedy change. Rather than mere record-keeping, observation is the dynamic art of perceiving whether the law of cure is in operation. Grouping these observations into categories—favorable, unfavorable, and deceptive—highlights their enduring clinical relevance and provides a scientific framework for practice.
