Criminology–Cosmology–Astrology–Crime–Confinement – Part I: A Data-Scientific and Pattern-Analytic Inquiry into Celestial Correlates of Human Transgression and Incarceration

Abstract

This paper presents Part I of a data-scientific and pattern-analytic investigation situated at the intersection of criminology, cosmology, and astrology, exploring whether planetary configurations exhibit measurable correlations with crime, confinement, and human transgression. Grounded in the canonical framework of Brihat Parāśara Hora Śāstra and strengthened by contemporary data science and pattern recognition methodologies, the study formulates a structured analytical model to identify celestial determinants underlying behavioural deviance and karmic consequence. It examines planetary relationships and house dynamics within natal charts, with particular focus on the sixth, eighth, and twelfth houses-traditionally associated with conflict, retribution, and isolation. The influences of Saturn, Mars, Rahu, and the Sun are assessed as potential indicators of aggression, volatility, and moral imbalance. Applying statistical inference and computational pattern analysis to a diverse corpus of astrological datasets, the research isolates recurring cosmic configurations that correspond with documented instances of crime and incarceration. The findings aim to advance the emerging discipline of astro-criminology by integrating criminological theory with cosmological order, offering a novel, data-driven framework to interpret the celestial correlates of human conduct.
