Abstract

A field investigation was undertaken during Kharif 2024 at the Experimental Farm, Department of Agronomy, VNMKV, Parbhani to study the effect of foliar application of nano urea and nano-DAP on growth, yield attributes and yield of green gram (Vigna radiata L.). The experiment comprised of seven treatments and three replications and was set in randomized block design. The treatments comprised different combinations of RDF (Recommended Dose of Fertilizer) and foliar applications of nano urea and nano-DAP. The findings of investigation indicated that application of 75% RDF +0.4% foliar spray of nano urea at 25 & 40 DAS recorded significantly higher growth attributes of green gram and was at par with 25:50:25 NPK Kg ha-1 (100% RDF), 75% RDF + 0.4% spray of nano urea at 25 DAS +0.4% spray of nano DAP at 45 DAS and application of 75% RDF + 0.4% spray of nano DAP at 45 DAS (T3). Whereas application of 25:50:25 NPK Kg ha-1 (100% RDF) recorded higher yield attributes and yield of green gram and was comparable with 75% RDF + 0.4% spray of nano urea at 25 DAS +0.4% spray of nano DAP at 45 DAS and 75% RDF + 0.4% spray of nano DAP at 45 DAS.
