Incidence of spinal affections in dogs

Abstract
The present clinical study was conducted on clinical cases of dogs presented to the department of Veterinary Clinical Complex, Veterinary College, Hassan during twelve months period (June 2024 to May 2025) with history and clinical signs suggesting spinal affections. Among 34 dogs affected with spinal injuries, 21 cases were of vertebral fractures and luxations, 05 cases of Spondylosis Deformans, 02 cases were of Intervertebral disc calcification, 01 case were of intervertebral disc disease, 01 case were of Diffused idiopathic spinal hyperkeratosis and other spinal injuries of 04 cases were documented.
