Abstract

The present investigation entitled “Study the mass production of Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) on different media under laboratory conditions” was carried out at Biological Control Laboratory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut during 2024-2025. Different eight solid and liquid media were evaluated for mass multiplication of Beauveria bassiana. The conidial count was recorded after 10, 20 and 30 days after inoculation. After 10 days after inoculation, 20 days after inoculation and 30 days after inoculation rice yielded maximum conidial count (63.90×107spores/ml), (70.79×107spores/ml) and (77.95×107spores/ml) respectively. Least conidial count was observed (3.41×107spores/ml), (5.40×107spores/ml) and (8.08×107spores/ml) respectively in pigeon pea.
