Effect of seed treatment and foliar application of ECO OK on growth and grain yield of wheat

International Journal of Research in Agronomy · 2025 · Vol. 8(8) · pp. 183–185

Abstract

Precise nutrient management in cereal crops is a major challenge worldwide as it relies predominantly on chemical fertilizers. Traditional fertilizers are not only costly for the producer, but may be harmful to humans and the environment. This has led to the search for environmentally friendly fertilizers, particularly those with high nutrient-use efficiency. BSB Nano technology based ECO OK Nano foliar fertilizer found better in terms of growth and yield of wheat as compared to recommended dose of fertilizers and absolute control treatments at Crop Research Station, Bahraich. The results of present investigation indicated that application of higher dose of ECO OK+100% RDF responded better with respect to growth and yield as compared to recommended dose of fertilizer and control. However, application of standard dose of ECO OK + 100% RDF gave good result in monetary terms with accrued maximum benefit cost ratio.
