Disabilities act 1995 and its educational impact

Abstract
One of the main accomplishments of the Disability Act of 1995 is the provision of free education in a suitable setting for all disabled children until they reach the age of 18. Promoting the integration of kids with disabilities in regular classrooms has been a continuous effort. To help special children become self-sufficient, the public and private sectors have established special schools. By making specific arrangements for its 2.21% impaired population, as reported in the 2011 Census, India is making progress towards its goal of 100% literacy according to the PWD Act of 1995.
