Abstract
The toxicity of insecticide on stingless bees under laboratory condition was conducted at Department of Agricultural Entomology, College of Agriculture, Dapoli during 2022-2023 with eight treatments and three replications. Results revealed that at 7th day of spraying, no mortality of stingless bees was recorded in treatment T5- Neem oil 0.5% EC @ 5 ml and was significantly superior over the treatments T4- Spinosad 45 SC @ 0.3 ml (16.9%), T2- Emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.4 g (17.4%) and T6- Lambda cyhalothrin 5 EC @ 0.6 ml (34.3%). It was on par with the treatments, T1- Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @ 0.25 ml (0.56%) and T3- Spinetoram 11.7 SC @ 0.9 ml (1.12%). Maximum mortality of stingless bees was noticed in T7- Imidacloprid 17.8 SL @ 0.3 ml (38.2%).
