Psychological reassurance, compatibility, and their relationship to the accuracy of football handling skills among some youth players of Najaf Governorate clubs

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the correlation between psychological reassurance and compatibility in football dribbling accuracy. To achieve this goal, the researchers employed a descriptive approach and two different methods: survey studies, which collected data on psychological reassurance, compatibility, and accuracy in football dribbling, and correlational studies, which revealed the correlation between all variables. The research community comprised young football players from clubs in Najaf Governorate participating in the Governorate League for the 2024-2025 sports season. The number of players from these clubs reached (187), distributed across (7) clubs. As for the research sample, which constitutes part of the research community, the researchers identified (70) players, with (10) players from each club. The researchers then identified the research variables (psychological reassurance, compatibility, and accuracy of soccer dribbling skills). They then conducted a pilot experiment to verify the suitability of the tests for the sample. They then proceeded to implement the main experiment on members of the community. After obtaining the results, the researchers used the SPSS statistical program to present and analyze the results, in light of the findings that indicated a correlation between psychological reassurance, compatibility, and accuracy of soccer dribbling skills.
