Proniosomes: An insight on novel vesicular drug delivery system

Abstract

The advancement in technology is very critical and needs the insight knowledge. The nanotechnology is the recent field of technology which is advancing in the present scenario at a very rapid rate. This advancement has led to the development of many drug delivery carriers including proniosomes. This drug delivery system has revolutionized the drug delivery system primarily due to enhanced stability and ease of handling. This transformation of proniosomes from niosomes has allowed for improved storage and transportation of the drug delivery system. The present review work tries to highlight the insight of proniosomes along with its applications in the present field of therapeutics.
