A study on the behavioral disturbances due to hypoactive sexual desire during menopause with the role of homoeopathy in it

International Journal of Homoeopathic Sciences · 2025 · Vol. 9(3) · pp. 294–296

Abstract

This study looks at how homoeopathy can help women after menopause who have low sexual desire and behavior problems because of it. Menopause often brings changes like mood swings, stress, and less interest in sex, which can hurt relationships and confidence. I studied 30 menopausal women at Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal, for one year. They were given individualized homoeopathic medicines based on their symptoms and miasmatic analysis. Their sexual function and behavior changes were measured using the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) before and after treatment. The results showed clear improvement. Many women had better sexual desire, better communication with their partners, and less relationship stress. The statistical analysis proved that homoeopathy helped reduce their problems effectively. This shows that homoeopathy can play a positive role in managing low sexual desire and related emotional and behavioral issues in menopausal women, improving their quality of life and relationships.
