Effect of vermiwash, Panchagavya and Jeevamrit on growth, yield and quality of clusterbean [Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L). Taub]

Abstract

The field trial was carried out at Research farm of Suresh Gyan Vihar College, Jagatpura (Jaipur) to assess the impact of organic manure on clusterbean. The explore was laid out in randomized block design utilizing thirteen treatments combinations of control, Vermiwash, panchgavya and jeevamrit (1%, 3%, 5% and 7%) on clusterbean variety Karan Guar-1 (RGr 12-1). The independent application of panchgavya 7% produced significantly higher plant height and dry matter accumulation at 50 DAS and at harvest, number of nodules, nodules dry weight, number of branches, number of pods plant-1, number of seeds pod-1, seed yield, straw yield and biological yield, net return and B: C ratio as compared to rest of the treatments.
