Study on Nitrogen management through nano urea and conventional urea in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
Abstract
The research work entitled “Evaluation of Rice Based Double Cropping System on Production and Profitability under Rainfed Condition” was conducted at Research cum Instructional Farm, Shaheed Gundadhur College of Agriculture and Research Station, Jagdalpur, IGKV, Chhattisgarh during Rabi season of 2024-25. The experiment was laid out in strip plot design with three replications. The linseed cv. RLC-153 was sown immediately after the harvest of medium duration rice cv. Vikram TCR to study the three different sowing methods (viz. H1 - Uthera, H2 - Zero tillage and H3 - Conventional tillage) and two different establishment methods (viz. V1 - Transplanted rice field and V2 - Direct seeded rice field). The results obtained under conventional tillage (H3) revealed significantly higher growth parameters viz., plant height, dry matter accumulation, crop growth rate, relative growth rate and yield attributing characters viz., number of branches per plant, number of capsules per plant, number of seeds per capsule while among establishment methods direct seeded rice field (V2) was found superior than transplanted rice field (V1). Maximum gross return, net return and B: C ratio was obtained in treatment T3.
