A study on role of voice search and voice commerce in shaping marketing strategy

International Journal of Advanced Academic Studies · 2025 · Vol. 7(3S) · pp. 95–98

Abstract

The sudden advancement of voice recognition technology and artificial intelligence has drastically changed consumer interactions with digital platforms. Voice commerce and voice search have become the key factors in defining today's marketing tactics, providing customers with a smooth and hands-free shopping experience. This research examines the influence of voice commerce on consumer buying behavior, the adoption of voice technology by online shopping websites, and the difficulties companies encounter in adjusting to this shift. As voice-enabled devices like amazon Alexa, Google assistant, and Apple's Siri become more widespread, consumers are increasingly employing voice search for product discovery, comparison, and purchase. This transformation has impacted consumer behavior by making it more convenient, decreasing search friction, and facilitating a more natural interaction with brands. The research discusses how these changes in behavior affect buying decisions and customer loyalty. In addition, the research looks at how companies and online stores are integrating voice technology to make the shopping experience smoother. Firms are using ai-driven voice assistants to offer personalized suggestions, facilitate Voice-activated transactions, and rank higher in search engines using voice search optimization (VSO). But while it offers advantages, the development of voice commerce faces numerous challenges. Businesses need to deal with problems like data privacy issues, voice search reliability, integration issues, and the requirement for aligning traditional marketing techniques with voice-led interactions. By way of thorough literature analysis and industry trends observation, the paper emphasizes voice commerce opportunities and challenges in creating future marketing approaches. The outcomes reflect the business need to shift to new models of content marketing, SEO, and customer outreach in order to survive in an ever-more voice-based digital age.
