Improvement by curvature energy of an infrared sensor for health safety uses

Abstract

A technological improvement is being developed for an infrared sensor that operates with high precision and reliability under normal and high ambient lighting conditions. It is intended for use in crowded rooms where some people are detected with signs of high temperatures (> 38°C) to prevent contagion. The sensor will be developed from an IR sensor (GP2Y0A21YK0F) to measure temperature, and a PIC18F2550 photodiode that will process both signals using curvature energy for its compensation, generating visual and audible alerts when temperatures (> 38°C) are detected.
