Impact of integrated weed management on yield attributes and yield of summer pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum L.)

Abstract

Field research using a randomised block design, three replications, and ten treatments was conducted in the summer of 2022 at the college of agriculture, Junagadh agricultural university. Based on the outcome of experiment, it was reported that highest value of number of tillers/plant, number of effective tillers/plant, ear head length (cm), girth of ear head (cm), test weight (g), grain yield, straw yield and biological yield (kg/ha) was recorded under weed free condition (T9) followed by treatment atrazine 500 g/ha as PE fb IC & HW at 30 DAS (T1) and atrazine 500 g/ha as PE fb topramezone 25 g/ha at 30 DAS (T5).
